July 11, 2015. The day my beautiful identical twin girls (Sierra and Nevada) were born. We had eight days of NICU time because they were born about thirty days early. The first five days of their life, they were blissfully nourished by the wonderful donors of the Calgary Milk Bank. The girls were almost perfectly healthy so we were lucky to only have a short stay. Due to my supply issues, I supplemented with the donor milk until they were three months old. There aren't words to describe how thankful I am for the women who donate their milk!
